Stages of modeling a tie from kanzashi ribbons

1. To create the initial part (the base of the lower part) of the tie, measure the longest piece of 26 cm from the black grosgrain ribbon and cut it off.

2. Bend the long strip into a loop, matching both edges, and glue. Do not iron the fold, but leave it rounded.

3. Measure and cut 6 pieces of 13 cm each from the same roll.

4. Also form small volumetric loops by gluing the edges.

5. Cut 3 pieces of ribbon of 15 cm each and the same number of pieces of lace of the same length. Match the lace and black fabric along the entire length.

6. Bend the black and white blanks into loops.

7. On the largest loop (at the fold) begin attaching black and black and white loops. Glue the two parts below, move them in different directions.

8. A little higher (between the initial elements) glue a loop with lace.

10. To create a bow-shaped top, prepare 3 long pieces of black ribbon and lace (2 pieces 28 cm long and 1 piece 25 cm long). Align the stripes, bend both sides into loops, closing them in the central part on the reverse side.

Let's start modeling a tie from ribbons using the kanzashi technique

We make blanks for the lower part:

First you need to make the lower part of the tie, which will serve as the basis for the brooch. To do this, we will use pre-cut fragments of grosgrain ribbon and lace for the lower part of the product.
We take a cut strip of 26 cm and bend it, connecting both edges to form a loop.
We glue the connected edges with hot glue using a gun, and leave the bend of the tape rounded, it does not need to be ironed.
Next, take six strips of 13 cm each and repeat the steps. We form small loops from them, which also need to be glued at the edges and left voluminous.
Now you need to take three strips of ribbon, 15cm each, and three pieces of lace, also 15cm each. Place the lace on the ribbons strictly in the center, to avoid distortions of the lace, put marks on the ribbon, and glue everything with the same glue.
We turn the resulting black and white stripes into loops and glue them, like all the previous ones.

Assembling the lower part:

Now comes the fun part. You need to take a loop, which came from a 26cm long ribbon, they are the longest, and it will be the basis for the lower part.

We connect the ends of the tape so that a circle is formed, glue it together, and scroll the seam back to the center. Having flattened the circle, we get three bow blanks.
We assemble the upper part of the brooch from the resulting blanks. We glue two blanks obtained from 28cm strips crosswise and connect them to the remaining part, placing it horizontally on top.
Then you need to make another bow from a 15cm piece of black ribbon, and place it in the center on top of all the previous parts.

Assembling the tie brooch:

Turn the resulting bow face down and glue the bottom of the tie to its center.
Be sure to hide the junction of the top and bottom with a 28cm black ribbon tied into a bow.
