Greetings, my wonderful ones! And in such an upbeat spirit, I invite you to continue decorating our home with your own hands. Let me remind you that earlier you and I made from different materials, including from, crafted and, sewed and created our own special one. But the collection of ideas for the New Year is simply inexhaustible! That's why our next step is window decoration. And we will do this with the help of stencils and protrusions.

To do this, you will need paper, a stationery knife and a backing so as not to spoil the surface of the table.

You may be wondering what to glue this beauty to. So, at home we fixed it with toothpaste. I think this is the most convenient option because it washes off easily. However, our friends glued snowflakes to the window using PVA glue. Of course, it holds up well, but it is difficult to wash off. I think that you simply need to know this. Also glued to paste. It cleans well from glass, but there is a lot of hassle with it - you need to cook it first. In general, choose for yourself.

So, what are the vytynanki that I mentioned just above. Briefly and without going into history, this is a picture cut out of paper. They can be quite simple, or they can be very delicate. Of course, this depends on the skill of the performer. You and I will not consider very complex options, because for the most part, this will be done by mothers with children. This means it should be simple, beautiful and fast.

So, the whole point of this decoration is shown in the picture: choose a stencil, cut along the lines and stick the picture on the window.

Important! The knife or stack must be very sharp! Therefore, stick to the rule: the mother cuts out the picture, and the child sticks it on the window.

Even before I give you just a huge number of pictures, I want to clarify one point. Namely, how to get the stencil itself.

  • Method 1: download the picture and print it on a printer. Downloading occurs when you right-click and select the “Save picture as” function.
  • Method 2: take a screenshot of the screen using the PrtSc key and save the image to your desktop. Then open a graphics editor (for example, Paint) and edit the picture there. All that remains is to print it out.
  • Method 3 is not always correct, but it turns out that they also use it. Place a blank sheet of paper on the screen and trace the picture. It is important to do this without pressing on the screen so as not to damage the surface.
  • Method 4: attach the diagram to the glass and draw the lines with gouache.

Now let's watch a detailed video so that you succeed the first time.

So, you are definitely ready, it’s time to move on to ideas.

Take a closer look at what beautiful images there are of winter, houses, landscapes. The lights look very beautiful at the very base of the horizontal frame.

So, we considered the biggest options. Of course, they are all winter themed.

Templates for windows in the form of snowflakes that you can download

We cannot imagine winter without snowflakes. And in childhood we immediately and forever became convinced that they were all different. There is no beauty like another. Therefore, in this section there are many interesting schemes and templates for you.

You can cut out one thing for each and you will get all different window decorations.

There are very simple ideas and the pictures can be easily cut with scissors. They are suitable for beginners.

And there are even more complicated options. When, you don’t mind the time to get such a beauty.

As you can see, there are many templates. I suggest cutting out snowflakes from colored self-adhesive paper. It’s bright and sticks well to glass.

If you haven’t found such paper, then just color the snowflake in the colors of winter and holiday: blue, light blue, silver and gold.

DIY paper window vytynankas, New Year's symbols

Of course, any holiday has its own symbolism. New Year is no exception. Let's look at what we associate it with.

For some reason I want to start with deer. These graceful and hardy animals bring Grandfather Frost to us with gifts from Veliky Ustyug itself. Can you imagine what kind of heroes they are, who fly around the whole world in a couple of hours?

Here I share with you the whole composition.

Here, this handsome man is bringing us Santa Claus. They are in a hurry, because the children of Europe are already waiting for them.

This Bambi is simply impossible to ignore.

Next, let's look at snowmen. They also come in different styles, colors and sizes.

Not necessarily, he can be alone. It will be useful for small children to know that he has a family: mom and dad.

Snowmen are often found in Soviet winter fairy tales. Remember about the postman?

Modern kids might be more into Olaf from Frozen.

Of course, we won’t ignore the Christmas tree!

The Christmas tree made from circles is very unusual!

And here is a beauty from the stars.

Decorating the corners of the window in the form of frosty patterns.

Now ideas for everyone who enjoys the holiday. Let's talk about animals.

Candles, angels. This is more suitable for Christmas.

Here are some carnival masks for you!

I’ll leave the best part for last – Santa Claus and Snow Maiden! See what they can be.

Now let’s cut out a granddaughter for grandpa.

For Elsa lovers I give this template.

Already chosen an idea? Now let's look at how you can arrange the protrusions on the window.

How to decorate windows for the New Year: beautiful templates and patterns

Simply cutting out a picture using a stencil is not quite enough. You also need to create a composition on the window so that it looks connected and beautiful. Therefore, I give ideas for the placement of stencils. I will immediately attach templates and diagrams to some of them.

Here's an idea for a snowy tale about the inquisitive Umka.

The patterns here are interesting. For example, such a bear has been knocking on the door since winter.

For this composition, you will find diagrams in the article. There is such a Christmas tree and a grandfather. It was just an interesting use of vertical.

Deer add grace to any composition.

Remember the Wolf from “Well, wait a minute!” Here they are with the bunny.

Winter landscapes are always charming.

Here is a diagram for this idea.

Window decoration based on the “Golden Key”.

You can cut out a large picture at once that will cover both window sashes.

Ideas from the popular cartoon "Masha and the Bear".

And here are the cutting diagrams.

The bright colored vytynankas are also very cute. They can be colored by hand or printed on a color printer.

Vytynanki in the form of piglets (Pig) - symbol of the New Year 2019

Now let's move on to the symbol of this year - the Pig. Her image definitely needs to be placed on at least one window.

There are ideas with numbers and letters. There are just beautiful piglets.

Let's look at ideas with numbers first.

At the same time, a couple of diagrams with inscriptions.

And now just silhouettes of cute Piggies.

Piglet also fits the theme very well.

New Year is a holiday that is loved by both adults and children, especially children. They like everything - the process of preparing for the holiday, the process of waiting for a gift, and the goodies on the table. Preparations for the New Year begin long before the holiday begins. Ideas for gifts, home decoration, outfits, and a festive table are being explored.

What is the first thing Santa Claus sees when he comes to visit you? Of course, your windows. Therefore, one cannot help but pay attention to their decorations.

Beautifully decorated windows will not only decorate your home from the inside, but also make it beautiful from the outside.

There are several ways to decorate - using stencils and templates, toys, garlands. Which stencil or template is most suitable for you - decide for yourself, and we will tell you below how this can be brought to life.

The simplest and most affordable way to decorate windows is to use stencils. You can buy them in a store or make them yourself. The latter is preferable. Why? Yes, because when drawing a picture, cutting it out and gluing it, you put your energy, love and kindness into the process.

Don’t discount the fact that making window decorations and decorating the process itself is a creative process, and if you do it together with your loved ones and children, then you will not only decorate the house, but also spend many pleasant moments together.

What stencils can be used to decorate windows? Here you can give free rein to your family fantasy. These could be Christmas trees, snowflakes (you will find stencils for snowflakes just below), Father Frost and Snow Maiden, Mistress of the Year Dog..... there is no limit to your imagination in this matter.

On the Internet you can find many stencil templates for decorating windows, but sometimes the question is how to transfer them to paper. This can be done in two ways.

First way. Make a drawing of the largest size on the monitor screen, attach a transparent piece of paper to the screen and redraw the stencil.

Second way. Save the picture and print it on your printer. Only the drawing can be printed in small size.

How can you increase it? This can be done using Microsoft Word. Create a document on your desktop, copy the picture you like there and, pointing the cursor at the corner of the picture, simply stretch it to the desired size.

And long-awaited stencils for decorating windows.

Snowflakes on paper windows for the New Year. Print stencils:

Light airy snowflakes give a wonderful mood when they whirl and fall to the ground and cover it with a white snow carpet, but also when they decorate our home, especially the windows. They can be different - smooth, openwork, made of paper or cut out of cardboard. You can even cut out a snowflake from a newspaper, and it will have an original, slightly creative look. The simplest and most accessible material for making snowflakes is, of course, paper.

They can be made using several methods.

Just like they were taught to do in kindergarten.

— Fold a square piece of paper diagonally several times and cut out the patterns that came to our minds.

— Draw or print a snowflake template.

— Buy a ready-made stencil or template in a store.

How to glue a snowflake to a window? It couldn’t be easier to do this - just make a saturated soap solution, coat one side of the snowflake with it and stick it to the window. Even a small child can do this. Watch a video on how to glue a snowflake to a window.

There is another way to use a stencil to draw a design on the window glass.

Attach a snowflake (or some other design or composition) to the glass and apply the coloring agent using a sponge.

The coloring agent in our case can be ordinary toothpaste.

Below are interesting snowflake patterns that can decorate your windows.

But how beautiful the windows will be.

Window decorations in the year of the dog (stencils in the shape of dogs and animals).

The mistress of this year, as mentioned above, will be the Yellow Earth Dog. And, although she begins to rule only in February, we can already begin to achieve her favor. And a great way to do this would be to decorate the windows of your home as a family.

You can give free rein to your children's imagination and let them decorate their windows with dogs and other animal images, or use ready-made templates and stencils.

Charming, sweet and serious representatives of the dog fraternity will become a worthy decoration of your windows, and other animals will be their friends.

And now templates of adorable dogs and other animals that are eager to decorate your windows.

New Year's balls for cutting out of paper for windows (clippings).

In addition to snowflakes, various balls can also be called a favorite attribute for decorating a Christmas tree and home. If we decorate the Christmas tree with shiny glass balls, then to decorate the windows you can use paper stencils and ball templates. Windows decorated with cut out paper balls look very festive and elegant.

In order to cut out a ball and stick it on the window you need:

  • Print or redraw the version you like.
  • Using a sharp knife or small nail scissors, carefully cut out the inner parts.
  • Glue the ball to the window in any way (it’s best to use a concentrated soap solution - then it’s very easy to remove the stencil from the window).

After you glue the ball to the window, you can use toothpaste, a sponge or a toothbrush and make a stencil design.

And now we invite you to choose your own version of a template or stencil of balls for cutting out and decorating windows.

How else can you decorate your windows for the New Year 2020? Original ideas

Most likely, your family members have a lot of ideas on how to decorate a window in an original and unusual way for the New Year. But there are times when nothing original comes to mind. In order for our imagination and fantasies to begin to work in full force, we need a little push.

The design options proposed below may be such an impetus. You can take them as a basis and, adding your creative thoughts to them, turn your windows into a work of art.

Or you can give free rein to your children's imagination. They will never have problems with original decoration! But there will be a lot of joy from the process of inventing, decorating and being proud of yourself!

An unusual decoration for the windows would be a ballerina snowflake.

Making such a snowflake is not very difficult. Cut out a ballerina figurine from thick beautiful paper and dress it in a snowflake. Moreover, snowflakes can be different in color, complexity, texture. Hang such a snowflake in the window opening and when you open the window for ventilation, it will spin beautifully under the flow of incoming air.

How to make such a snowflake is shown in the video.

Nobody canceled New Year's glowing garlands. By decorating a window with them, you can create a fabulous atmosphere in the room.

No less impressive is a window decorated with pom-poms made of wool (and not only wool). These cheerful pompoms are very easy to make, and they look just great, adding to the joyful mood.

In addition, by decorating windows, you can arrange entire thematic compositions. Such compositions are shown in the collage. And, who knows, maybe their mesmerizing beauty will inspire you to create your own wonderful composition.

New Year has always been a family holiday. And 2019 suggests an even greater emphasis on family, comfort and kindness. Because the Dog is a symbol of devotion, kindness and love. She loves warmth and comfort. Therefore, the Mistress will really like your joint family work on decorating the house. These chores will not be a burden; they will be joyful and happy for the whole family.

In the pre-New Year period, each of us is immersed in an indescribable atmosphere of anticipation and expectation of the holidays. In every house, a Christmas tree is installed and decorated, garlands shine in the windows, multi-colored tinsel glitters and stick-on snowflakes flaunt... All these are the attributes of the New Year that have become familiar to us since childhood. You can approach the issue of New Year's decorations in a less traditional way by making beautiful pictures. New Year's vytynanka is a silhouette drawing made of paper or thin cardboard.

Windows decorated with New Year's decorations

Using these pictures allows you to create truly original compositions. Their preparation will require some time and patience, but the result will exceed your wildest expectations. Fairy-tale characters will settle in your windows, spruce forests will grow, Santa Claus will rush by on a reindeer sleigh and snowmen will start a round dance. The vytynankas can be attached to a mirror, hung on a Christmas tree or combined on the wall into a New Year's panel.

How to make vytynanki?

To begin, select the drawings you like, save them on your computer, and then print them. If you can’t immediately grasp the idea of which parts should be cut out and which ones should be left, paint over the unnecessary parts with a pencil. This will make it easier for you to navigate the process. You can cut out pictures using nail scissors with sharp tips. The second option is to place a board under the picture and use a utility knife. This method is especially good for complex, asymmetrical designs.

Almost any New Year's drawing can be transformed into a pop-up template

Once you get used to cutting, you can start making three-dimensional figures. Place the Christmas trees on a table or windowsill by gluing them from two symmetrical cuttings. You can make aerial ballerinas in lacy snowflake skirts hover under the ceiling by attaching them with threads to a cornice or chandelier. Well, place snowmen and New Year's houses on the windows.

How to attach protrusions?

To create a panel of protrusions on a window or mirror, the easiest way is to use a strong solution of laundry soap. Wet the brush, run it over the soap bar, apply the solution to the paper design and glue it to the desired place. After the holidays, peel off the pictures and wipe the glass. If you want to place the protrusions on a wall or furniture, use double-sided tape. An anti-adhesive spray, which can be purchased at a hardware store, will help you remove the sticky layer of tape after the holidays.

Vytynanka for the New Year of the Rooster 2017

There are only a few days left until the New Year! In many houses, New Year trees sparkle, decorated with multi-colored balls and tinsel, and snowflakes cut out of paper adorn the windows. But, if snowflakes are found in almost every window, then the vytynankas are made, perhaps, by the most creative and patient people.

Vytynanki - a word with such an unusual sound and auditory perception is called a type of decorative and applied art, with the help of which not just hand-made masterpieces are created, but truly magical jewelry. We recommend that each of you as soon as possible master the technique of cutting out protrusions in order to create original, unusual, unique things - silhouette compositions that will decorate your home for the New Year 2016.

The protrusions are made, or rather cut out, using a stationery knife. The end result is openwork figures. They can be hung on the Christmas tree, glued to windows or placed in a photo frame. And if you cut out symmetrical silhouettes, you can make three-dimensional compositions, for example, a reindeer sleigh with Santa Claus on the windowsill. Agree, it is impossible to remain indifferent when seeing such beauty on the windows!

This amazing type of creativity is especially attractive to children. Of course, cutting out protrusions will require perseverance, certain skills and safety, since you will have to work with sharp objects. Therefore, do not abandon your young needlewoman, but keep an eye on her and, of course, give her advice.

Vytynanka for the New Year: tools for making

So, several things will help you create a unique New Year's atmosphere:

Stencils with characters symbolizing the New Year;

Nail scissors or stationery knife;

A wooden board or piece of plywood (so as not to scratch the surface of the table).

Examples of templates for cutting out New Year's vytynankas

As a rule, protruding stencils are printed on a printer. For printing, you can use regular office paper (it’s suitable for gluing figures on the window), or you can take a thicker one - business cards, reproduce symmetrical templates and make three-dimensional compositions.

Where can I get a drawing for the embroidery if I don’t have a printer at hand? It’s great if you have an artistic gift and can draw any template yourself. If drawing is not your thing, then take white paper and, using the principle of tracing paper, redraw it from the monitor. Enlarge the template you like as much as possible, attach a sheet of paper to the monitor and trace the contours. We wish you success in mastering the new wonderful technique of vytynanki!

The symbol of 2016 will be the Fire Monkey. Let this funny paper monkey have fun on your window and bring good luck for the whole next year!

Greetings to all subscribers and guests of the blog site

We continue the New Year's theme of decorating the house for the upcoming holiday. At the moment I am at work. I work on a 15 day shift basis. That is, 15 at work, 15 at home. This means that I will only get home on December 1st. And my son and I will begin to design and decorate the apartment for the New Year.

Last year we bought a new Christmas tree. Most of the toys and garlands for her were also purchased at the store. But I did some of it together with my son. At that time he was 2.5 years old and therefore most of the work was done with his wife, and he only watched the whole process with interest. It’s interesting, after all, when from a set of different pieces of paper, all kinds of ribbons and multi-colored buttons.

And the whole interest of Arthur (son’s name) lay in the fact that he hung the finished toys on the Christmas tree himself (at least where he could reach). And if he couldn’t, then he showed the place where they needed to be placed. You can probably imagine what came of it, at his age.))) Of course, after he fell asleep, we re-arranged everything.

This was the extent of our joint creativity last year. We decorated the Christmas tree for several days, including making homemade toys, and in the end we got this beauty.

Since we now have a lot of Christmas decorations, I decided to start carving with my son this year. By the way, he copes with this task perfectly, at 3.5. I always liked patterns on windows, but somehow we never decorated them. This year we will fill this gap.

That is, you don’t have to spend hours on the Internet looking for something suitable. You just need to write to me what you liked and I will send it to you. Or you can download the picture you like to your computer and then print it. To do this, right-click on the picture and select "save image as..."

Afterwards, select a folder to save and click save. It's quite simple.

Well, now, let's start looking and choosing templates, according to which we will make art with an interesting name - vytynanki.

To make it easier for you to cut, I suggest you watch a video that gives tips to make this task easier.

Window stencils for cutting out in A4 format

Let me make a reservation right away that all the pictures are of different sizes. But when printed, they will automatically adjust to the format in which you are printing (A3 or A4). If you need a small image, then an editor like Microsoft Word can easily cope with this task.

You just need to insert the picture you like into the editor field and, by dragging the mouse pointer on the corner of the picture, adjust it to the size you need.

Do not forget to place some unnecessary board under the paper so as not to spoil the table at which you will do your work.

That's all! And now let's begin...

Father Frost

Our selection will open with the main symbol of each year. I offer you a choice of 10 different options with his participation.

Snow Maiden

An equally important hero is the Snow Maiden. Where would Santa Claus be without her?

Kids will most like the Snow Maiden in this version - in the form of Masha)

Snowman

I really liked the option below too. And I think we can cope with this snowman.

Look at the cool work. I wonder how much time and labor was spent on such magnificence?

We glue the cut out stencils to the window. For this you will need:

  • tassel

The brush needs to be soaked in water. Then rub the soap thoroughly and apply it to the template, as if with glue. Place it in the right place on the eye, straighten it and blot it with a towel. We do the same with the rest of the figures.

And then we admire the result.

New Year's decorations for windows - printable templates

Below are a variety of compositions. With their help, you can create a real miracle on the windows no worse than Frost does.

With this house you can create a picture like this on the window

There is a house with Christmas trees. All that remains is to add snowflakes that will imitate stove smoke. Cool idea, in my opinion.

Here is another example that I really liked and proves that fantasy has no boundaries.

And here is a video story that motivates, even very motivates...

Mouse stencils for windows for the New Year 2020

Since we are celebrating the Year of the Rat, let's not forget about it. Let's make her image on our windows.

All children's favorite cartoon characters will decorate the windows in the children's room.

And other cute mice can keep them company.

Rat stencil templates for window decoration

Here, without further ado, it is clear what the next cuttings will be.

Protruding New Year's balls, bells and Christmas trees

What is a holiday without toys, balls and Christmas trees? Below you will also see design examples that I found on the Internet.

Christmas balls

Christmas trees

For greater effect, you can make a whole city on the windowsill from the same cuttings, which will further emphasize the window decorations and make the mood even better. See how it's done...

Bells

Schemes for cutting snowflakes onto windows

And of course, snowflakes. Please note that in every composition on the windows there are always snowflakes. They are the ones who create the atmosphere of winter and holiday. After all, the New Year is associated with snow, and snowflakes are snow.

And now the options are a little more complicated. Although the fold lines are indicated here. So you can simply cut out a snowflake along the contour, bend it in the right places and cut it out.

Stencils for cutting out letters and numbers for window decoration

Finally, numbers in various versions and the cherished phrases “Happy New Year”

Choose, cut and decorate! Wish you luck! If you are interested, then in the future I can post photographs of our creativity (show what we did).

Well, now I say goodbye to you and wish you creative success. With coming! Bye.
