In stores today you can find New Year's cards for every taste. But I think that homemade ones are much warmer. After all, when we make something for someone with our own hands, we put our love into it.

Below we have collected ideas for beautiful, original and, most importantly, “quick” New Year’s cards, the creation of which does not require any rare materials - beautiful paper, cardboard, and colorful ribbons and buttons lying around the house.

Volumetric Christmas trees

Volumetric Christmas trees made of white and colored paper are so simple to make that you can make them at the last moment.

Making 3D Christmas trees even faster. All you need is a ruler, sharp scissors and cardboard

Penguin

We really liked this penguin, well thought out. You will need black and white cardstock (or white paper), an orange paper triangle, and 2 miniature snowflakes, which we all know how to cut out. The eyes are, of course, the highlight of the postcard, and you’ll have to look for them at a hobby store (or tear them off from an unnecessary children’s toy, with the children’s consent, of course).

Gifts

This cute and simple card requires 2 sheets of cardstock, a ruler, scissors and glue. And also pieces of wrapping paper that you have left over from gift wrapping, ribbon and ribbon.

Santa Claus

A friendly Father Frost (or Santa Claus) can be made in just half an hour. The red hat and pink face are strips of paper glued onto a card or gift bag. The fur of the hat and the beard are obtained like this: you need to take drawing paper and simply tear off strips of the desired shape to get uneven edges. Place on the card over the red and pink stripes. And then draw two squiggles - a mouth and a nose - and two dots - eyes.

Simple drawings

An irresistible idea in its elegance is to draw Christmas balls with patterns with a black gel pen. The main thing here is to draw the correct circles and mark the lines for the patterns. Everything else won’t be difficult—the stripes and squiggles that you draw when you’re bored.

The same principle that underlies the postcard with black and white balloons. Simple silhouettes, painted with simple patterns, this time in color - best done with felt-tip pens. Warm and very cute.

Many, many different Christmas trees

For the first, you will need decorative tape or colored cardboard (with or without glitter - now you can easily buy these at an office supply store or in hobby stores). For the second - elegant straws for drinks and good glue.

This is where patterned paper or cardboard left over from children's crafts or wrapping paper for gifts will come in handy. The Christmas trees are sewn in the center - this is not at all necessary, you can glue them. But if you really want to, you first need to make holes with a thick needle along a ruler, and then sew with thread in 2 rows - up and down, so that there are no gaps left. Draw a snowball with white gouache.

A laconic and stylish idea is a grove of Christmas trees, one of which is glued to foam double-sided tape (and therefore rises above the rest) and decorated with a star.

This card requires 4 or 3 layers of cardboard (you can do without the red one). You can use paper rather than cardboard as a color layer. In the top, white one, cut out a Christmas tree (a stationery knife will do this well) and glue it with double-sided tape for volume.

A round dance of Christmas trees made from various leftover cardboard, scrapbooking paper, and wrapping paper, tied with a simple ribbon and decorated with a button. Try playing with colors and textures - here you can find an incredible number of options using different colored ribbons, paper and even fabric.

Wonderful watercolor so in the spirit of New Year and Christmas! A simple watercolor sketch can be done by anyone, even those who last painted in school. First, you need to outline the patterns with a pencil, color them, and when dry, carefully erase the pencil sketches and complete the patterns with a felt-tip pen.

Winter landscape

For this card it is better to use structured cardboard, but you can get by with regular, smooth cardboard - it will still turn out impressive. Using sharp scissors, cut out the snowy landscape and moon and paste it onto a black or dark blue background.

Another, white-green, option for a winter landscape that will take a little more time. If you find velvety cardboard (remember, back in school they made crafts out of this), it will be great; if not, you can simply color the Christmas trees with a felt-tip pen. Snow is polystyrene foam disassembled into peas. You can also use a hole punch to make circles out of cardboard and glue them to the card.

Hugging snowman

The author of the blog My kid craft made this snowman with her children. The snowman throws his arms up in joy when the card is opened. You can write your wishes inside. It will be interesting for children to make an applique (and paint their hands and cap),

More snowmen

Snowmen peering inquisitively into the starry sky will look better if you can find a bright ribbon for a scarf.

For that postcard on the left, You need unpainted cardboard, white drawing paper and foam tape to glue the snowman with. Drifts are made simply: you need to tear off the drawing paper so that you get a ragged wavy edge. Fill it in with a blue pencil and blend it with anything, even with your finger or a piece of paper. Also tint the edges of the snowman for volume. For the second You will need buttons, a piece of fabric, eyes, glue and colored markers.

You will want to keep this card for a long time. All you need are circles made of cardboard, a nose and twigs made of colored paper. All this must be assembled using double-sided bulk tape. Draw eyes and buttons with black paint, and a snowball with white gouache or watercolor.

Balloons

Balls are one of the main symbols of the New Year and Christmas. These are made from velvety colored paper and ribbon. But balls are such a win-win option that you can allow yourself to fantasize: make balls from patterned paper, wrapping paper, fabric, lace, cut out from a newspaper or a glossy magazine. And you can simply draw the strings.

Another option is to glue the paper with a pattern on the inside of the card, and cut out circles on the outside with a sharp stationery knife.

Volumetric balls

For each of these balls you will need 3-4 identical circles of different colors. Fold each one in half and glue the halves to each other, and the two outer halves to the paper. Another option is colored stars or Christmas trees.

Multi-colored balls

Wonderful translucent balls are obtained using a regular eraser on a pencil. It’s worth starting with a pencil to outline the outline of the ball. Then dip the eraser into the paint and leave marks on the paper. Fun and beautiful.

Cards with buttons

Bright buttons will add volume to the cards, and will also evoke subtle associations with childhood.

The main thing is to find buttons of interesting colors, but the rest is up to you to “hang” them on the Christmas tree, on a branch with cute owls, or on newspaper clouds.

What could be simpler and cuter than a button snowman? The second card will require more effort, but the result is worth it.

The tradition of giving cards on occasion of significant events and holidays dates back more than two centuries. Despite the fact that modern information technologies have entered our lives: mobile communications and the Internet, we still rejoice when we receive a colorful homemade New Year’s card as a gift from a loved one.

However, modern postcards look completely different from those we received twenty years ago. We no longer want to congratulate each other with the faceless products of the printing industry, which churned them out in unlimited quantities.

Boring standard cardboards were replaced by postcards, skillfully made on their own, into which the person who made them put a piece of his soul, warmth and care. One of our favorite holidays has always been the New Year: it is with it that we associate our dreams and hopes for a better future, and exchange gifts with people close to us.

A handmade card can be a pleasant addition to a gift. It is not at all difficult to make, since the materials for its manufacture (colored paper, cardboard, satin ribbons, bright shreds, beads, sequins, braid) can be found in every home. The task will become even easier if you purchase a special scrapbooking kit in the store (this is what the art of making postcards is called).

In addition to materials, we may need a figured hole punch, openwork or zigzag scissors, and a set of decorative stamps.

An original postcard for a man can be a pocket in which New Year's greetings are inserted. In recent years, a fashionable trend has emerged to necessarily link the congratulatory text with the patron saint of the coming year - one of the twelve animals of the Chinese horoscope.

Having found a suitable poem on the Internet, we add everything that we want to wish to our dear person and print the text on a home printer. Of course, for this we need a sheet of thick cardboard, the edges of which can be tinted with acrylic paints and decorated with ornaments using suitable stamps.

How to make a pocket postcard?

For this we need:

  • A piece of thick gift paper with a “masculine” design.
  • Small details (maybe some knightly paraphernalia taken from a children's game).
  • Several sisal fibers.
  • Small snowflakes.
  • Cloves (spicy, a few pieces).
  • A string of artificial pearls.
  • Artificial berries and imitation spruce branches.
  • Silver ribbon bow.
  • Silver braid.
  1. We model and glue an original pocket envelope from gift paper.
  2. We carefully cover the edges of the pocket with narrow silver braid.
  3. In the lower left corner of the pocket we create a beautiful composition from sisal fibers, beads, berries, snowflakes and a spruce twig. It is advisable to place fragrant carnations among artificial pine needles: they will imitate fir cones, while simultaneously scenting the card.
  4. In the foreground of the composition we attach small details (an imitation of a weapon, a shield or a fragment of knight’s armor).
  5. At the top of the congratulations sheet we attach a small but effective bow made of silver braid, decorated with a snowflake and a bunch of artificial berries.
  6. We put a beautifully designed congratulation in the finished pocket.

A holiday card for the New Year, made with your own hands and intended as a gift for a woman, can be a three-dimensional imitation of a cozy winter window. Below you can find out how to make it.

We will need:

  • A sheet of dark blue cardboard.
  • Striped gift paper.
  • Scraps of guipure, tulle or lace.
  • Silver braid.
  • Ribbon narrow lace.
  • A picture depicting a beautiful winter landscape.
  • Scraps of ceiling tiles or thick felt.

Execution sequence:

  1. Fold a sheet of blue cardboard in half.
  2. We cover the inside of the card with coated white paper with beautifully designed corners and a pre-printed congratulation.
  3. We decorate the front side with striped gift paper: it will imitate wallpaper on the wall surrounding the window.
  4. Paste on a beautiful winter landscape (it will be visible from the window).
  5. From strips of ceiling tiles or thick felt we make an imitation of a window frame and paste it on top of the winter landscape.
  6. We make a lambrequin from a piece of ribbon lace and attach it to the top of the frame.
  7. We make curtains from scraps of tulle or guipure, glue them to the sides of the window, grab them with a narrow braid and tie it with a bow.
  8. Under the window we place a strip with a beautifully executed congratulatory inscription. It can be printed on a printer or cut out from an old postcard using curly scissors.

Even the simplest card with an applique, made by a child’s hands, will be a very expensive gift for his mother.

Give your baby a sheet of cardboard folded in half and a leaf of fern (or any dried plant whose leaves are shaped like a Christmas tree).

  • Glue the leaf on the front side of the card: this will be the basis of the New Year tree.
  • We decorate the Christmas tree with ready-made sparkles or circles of confetti, which the child can independently make from colored foil or pages of a glossy magazine.
  • Taking a thin brush and white gouache, you can depict snowflakes swirling around the Christmas tree.
  • We make imitation snowdrifts from pieces of cotton wool and glue them under the Christmas tree.
  • The congratulatory inscription (if the child can already write) can be made by hand.
  • The same applies to the text of the congratulation: made with touching children's doodles, it will warm any mother to the depths of her soul.

A very young child can please his mother with a postcard decorated using purchased stickers. These stickers are sold in sets and come in the form of stars and various geometric shapes. Offer them to your child and help him make a simple Christmas tree applique.

A postcard with a Christmas tree made by a child’s hands will be no less dear to his dad. It will look quite original with a Christmas tree made from paper tubes. What will it take?

  • Colored thick cardboard.
  • Scrap paper.
  • PVA glue.
  • Beads, sequins, beads.

Execution sequence:

  1. Bend the cardboard in half.
  2. We mark out the future card and decide on the size of the Christmas tree.
  3. We cut scrap paper into rectangles, roll them up and glue them into tubes. The length of the tubes should be different, corresponding to our preliminary markings.
  4. Having made a sufficient number of tubes, we begin to glue the Christmas tree onto the cardboard. We place the longest pieces down. With each new tier their length should decrease. We glue the tubes together.
  5. We decorate the finished Christmas tree with ready-made sparkles, beads and seed beads.
  6. Together with the child, we write congratulations to our beloved dad.

A beautiful postcard made in an unusual technique will be a pleasant surprise for your beloved friend. You can cut a round window on the front side and decorate it as a beautiful Christmas tree decoration.

We will need:

  • A piece of thick cardboard.
  • Gift paper.
  • Large silver snowflake.
  • A piece of bright colored felt.
  • Narrow silver ribbon.
  • Round paper napkin with carved edges.
  • Paper fir branches.

Execution sequence:

  1. We make the base of the card: fold a sheet of cardboard in half. We cover the front side with beautiful gift paper.
  2. Using a compass or any round object, draw a circle for the future window. The diameter of our circle should correspond to the diameter of the snowflake we have (you can buy it in a department that sells Christmas tree decorations).
  3. Cover the window with a piece of silver metallized cardboard.
  4. We decorate the edge of the cut window using a paper napkin with lace edges (we cut out the middle of the napkin along the same diameter).
  5. We make the volumetric edging of the window from thick felt: having made the necessary markings, cut out a ring and glue it on top of the paper lace, like a frame.
  6. The edges of the felt frame can be decorated with gel with silver glitter.
  7. Place a snowflake in the center of the window and glue it to silver cardboard.
  8. At the top of the resulting Christmas tree ball we glue an imitation of a metal fastener made from the same silver cardboard.
  9. On both sides of the “mount” we strengthen paper spruce branches (ready-made or cut out ourselves).
  10. We decorate the center of the “fastening” with a bow made of silver ribbon.
  11. We cover the inside of the finished card with beautiful paper and write our warmest wishes on it.

You can please your friend with a cheerful card with a picture of a smiling snowman.

Necessary materials:

  • Thick green cardboard.
  • A picture of a cheerful snowman.
  • Double-sided bulk tape.
  • Simple double-sided tape.
  • Ready-made 3D stickers.
  • Halves of mother-of-pearl beads.
  • A piece of grosgrain ribbon.

Stages of work:

  1. Fold the card, mark it and cut out a window on the front side.
  2. In accordance with the size of the window, select a suitable picture and cut it out, making an additional allowance of 0.5 cm on each side (this is necessary for attaching the picture to bulk tape). We make all markings using a simple pencil. After cutting out the picture, erase the auxiliary lines.
  3. We attach small squares of double-sided tape along the edges of the front side of the picture and glue the image of the snowman to the back side of the future postcard. At the same time, it should seem as if a snowman is looking out the window.
  4. At the bottom of the card we attach a piece of grosgrain ribbon (using double-sided tape).
  5. We hide the edges of the tape under voluminous snowmen-stickers.
  6. After applying a few drops of glue, we attach snowflake-shaped sequins to the ribbon.
  7. We use the same sequins to decorate the top corner of the card.
  8. We decorate the upper right corner of the window with a bright fabric bow.
  9. In the left corner we place and glue the halves of mother-of-pearl beads.
  10. We will make the liner for the inside from scrap paper by cutting out a square of the required size and processing its edges using a border hole punch.
  11. Glue the liner with double-sided regular tape.
  12. Using an acrylic stamp, we will make an imprint of the congratulatory inscription.

You can make a card for your dear grandfather that is somewhat reminiscent of a traditional one, but only from earlier times and with an indispensable modern “zest.”

What do we need?

  • A piece of dark cardboard.

  2. To the bottom edge of the picture we attach several tubes of glossy paper with letters tied with bows made of golden braid: this is an imitation of congratulatory scrolls. They can be additionally decorated with paper spruce branches.
  3. We decorate the side of the picture (just above the “scrolls”) with a three-dimensional image of a gift tied with a golden thread with a tiny bell.
  4. You can further decorate it by cutting out a couple of snowflakes from an openwork paper napkin.
  5. We make the congratulatory inscription by hand using gel with glitter (or cut it out from an old postcard).

A voluminous postcard for the New Year of the Goat (sheep) is a wonderful reason to please your beloved girl by giving her a talisman postcard depicting a cute sheep - the patron saint of the coming year. To make it you will need no more than half an hour and a modest set of materials. So, we need:

  • A sheet of white and thick textured paper.
  • A piece of black half-cardboard.
  • Ready-made eyes for toys.
  • Scissors: simple and curly.

Manufacturing sequence:

  1. Fold white textured paper in half and draw a circle on it using a compass or any round-shaped object.
  2. We cut out the circle with curly scissors, leaving a small piece of the fold untouched so that the card can open.
  3. From scraps of white paper we make an oval hat and a small round tail.
  4. On a sheet of black cardboard we outline a muzzle, a pair of ears and four legs. We cut out all the parts using regular scissors.
  5. Before assembling the postcard, we lay out all the details, achieving the greatest expressiveness of the image. Our card will stand, so we need to position the legs so that they match.
  6. Carefully glue all the parts, promptly removing excess glue with a soft cloth.
  7. Our amulet card is ready. You just need to write the warmest words inside and give it to your beloved girl along with a New Year's gift.

Even a small child can make a postcard for his brother. Of course, if an adult family member helps with the work. Let's find out how to make it using a fashionable technique called cardmaking.

Our postcard will be a bright picture with a border made of base cardboard. To accomplish this we need:

  • A sheet of very thick cardboard (21/15 cm in size).
  • Set of colored velvet paper.
  • Double-sided bulk tape.
  • Star sequins.
  • Metal chain (22-25 cm long).
  • Several acrylic or metal pendants and rings for attaching them.
  • Sintepon or cotton wool.
  • Titan glue or glue stick. In extreme cases, regular office glue will do.
  • Regular scissors and zigzag scissors.
  • Special press eyelet and three eyelets.

Execution steps:

  1. Using zigzag scissors, cut out a rectangle measuring 18/11 cm from blue velvet paper and glue it to a sheet of white cardboard: this is the background of our postcard.
  2. Using the same scissors, we cut out a triangular (with sides 6/9/9 cm) Christmas tree from green velvet paper. We decorate it with star sequins.
  3. We attach strips of bulk tape to the back of the Christmas tree and place it on the card.
  4. We make two New Year's boots for gifts from red velvet paper and secure them with the same tape.
  5. In the same way we cut out and glue the house.
  6. We make holes in three places using a grommet press. Using detachable rings, we attach a chain to the card and decorate it with funny pendants.
  7. To imitate a snowball, we use lumps of cotton wool, attaching them to the roof of the house, boots and at the base of the Christmas tree.

A very delicate and original card made of beads can please your beloved sister. It will take no more than a quarter of an hour to make, but the result will be a very nice addition to the gift.

Required materials:

  • Thick blue cardboard.
  • Three pieces of New Year's paper with a pattern of a similar color scheme.
  • Pearlescent white beads of different diameters (preferably three sizes).
  • Flat double-sided tape.
  • Narrow nylon ribbon.
  • Hot glue.

Sequence of work:

  1. We make a square postcard from cardboard.
  2. We decorate the front side with squares and rectangles of New Year's paper, placing them randomly on cardboard and gluing them with double-sided tape. The most important thing is that the composition is original and harmonious.
  3. Using a simple pencil, make a light sketch of the silhouette of the Christmas tree and begin gluing the beads of the bottom row using hot glue. During the gluing process, we alternate the beads by size, trying to place the smallest of them in the upper tiers of the Christmas tree.
  4. Having glued the Christmas tree, we make an elegant bow from translucent nylon tape at the bottom of the card. To do this, use a sharp utility knife to make a small cut in the fold, thread a ribbon through it and tie a bow.
  5. We guarantee that any girl will be delighted with such a card. Multiply her joy by finding suitable good poems on the Internet. Sign it by hand or print the text of the congratulations on a printer.

Since ancient times, on New Year's Eve, people exchanged greeting cards or sent them to relatives by mail. Unfortunately, with the development of digital technologies, people have almost stopped giving each other postcards; as a last resort, they send a digital version by e-mail. But it’s so great to receive a real postcard, hold it in your hands and fill your heart with the warmth of attention. It’s especially nice if children give a New Year’s card, almost creating it with their own hands. A handmade postcard can create a New Year's mood and bring joy to the author and recipient.

There are many options for creating New Year's cards, let's look at a few step-by-step descriptions of making a wide variety of cards.

For the youngest children, we suggest creating a postcard with a bright (possibly multi-colored) garland of clear fingerprints. Or use a small handprint to create a funny Santa Claus.

Step 1. On any flat object that does not absorb paint, make a rectangular frame from insulating tape or tape to the size of the future card. You can use a baking sheet for these purposes.

Step 2. Apply an even layer of paint to your palm and use a cotton swab to create Santa Claus or any New Year’s design.

Step 3. Reprint the design onto the card by applying the card to the paint.

See video: DIY Christmas tree card using a child’s footprint or handprint.

New Year card with a snowman in 3D format

Take white construction paper and cut out three different circles. Shade the edges of the circles with a pencil lead, so the snowman will take on an advantageous shape. Glue the circles one on one, so that the smallest is on top and the largest is on the bottom, then glue them onto the card. From colored cardboard, cut out a triangle for a nose, handles, circles for eyes and buttons, and a rectangle for a scarf.

New Year card with snowdrifts

Creating this card will turn into an amazing fairy-tale ritual for your child. Any child will be happy to help you and will be able to show their talents to the maximum.

Necessary materials:

  • Thin double-sided cardboard, various shades of green;
  • Thick cardboard for postcards;
  • Sequins, beads, sparkles and other decorations;
  • Scissors;
  • Plain white sheet;
  • Glue.

Step 1. Cut out different Christmas trees from colored green cardboard.

Step 2. Fold thick cardboard in half.

Step 3. Cut the white sheet to the depth of the postcard you are creating. Fold it into an accordion shape.

Step 4. Glue the ends of the white accordion to the bottom, inner part of the card, and glue the Christmas trees onto the snowdrifts.

Step 5. Decorate the card.

New Year card with balls

As a gift, you can make a card not only with a picture of a Christmas tree, but also with bright multi-colored balls. To create balls, you can use bright colored paper or even glossy sheets of old magazines. Cut such sheets into thin strips of different widths and glue them onto a white sheet. From the resulting striped sheet, cut out different balls and glue them onto the card.

Decorate the Christmas balls on the card with bright ribbons tied in a bow.

You can also use flat buttons to create balls.

New Year's card with voluminous balls

Necessary materials:

  • Multi-colored cardboard for balls;
  • One sheet of cardboard for a postcard;
  • Pencil;
  • Scissors;
  • Glue;
  • Stapler (thin wire).

Step 1. Cut out identical circles from multi-colored cardboard so that they come out identical, use a compass or any flat round object, which you trace along the outline with a pencil.

Step 2. Fasten the cut out circles with a stapler (wire) together in the center.

Step 3. Glue the resulting flat ball to the base of the card and bend the circles in half.

Step 4. Decorate the balloon with a bow and sign the card.

The greeting card can also be decorated with multi-colored fabric or paper flags and attached or sewn to the card.

Postcard with applique

This card is easy to make and will bring joy to any recipient. Take rice grains as the material. Use long grains to lay out a Christmas tree, snowflakes or a star. Round grains are great for simulating snow.

Take dark cardboard and glue cut-out white snowflakes to it. You can place one large snowflake in the center of the card or use several snowflakes of different sizes. This picture looks very elegant and festive.

A Christmas tree is an invariable attribute of the New Year's celebration, and a postcard with a Christmas tree is an excellent gift. It’s very easy to create such a card, so feel free to start creating with your kids.

The postcard in the Scandinavian style will depict a Christmas tree created from strips of paper.

Necessary materials:

  • A4 cardboard or thick paper;
  • Glue;
  • Colored paper (preferably bright), you can also use braid or scrapbooking paper, and colored tape will also work;
  • Scissors.

Step 1. Take paper or cardboard, fold it in half and place the Christmas tree on the “front” of the card, and you can write your wish inside. You don’t have to fold the sheet, then the postcard will be single (for this version, you can also use A5 cardboard).

Step 2. Using colored paper scissors, cut thin strips, from shortest to longest, in ascending order. You also need to cut a rectangle for the future trunk.

Step 3: Glue the strips onto the cardboard in a herringbone shape.

Step 4. If desired, decorate your Christmas tree; for this you can cut out balls and a star on the top of the head.

See video: Scrapbooking. New Year card in Scandinavian style.

One more thing:

Required materials for production:

  • Cardboard (thick paper);
  • Pen or pencil;
  • Scrapbooking paper;
  • Glue;
  • Decorative details (beads, buttons).

Step 1. We cut the scrapbooking paper into different rectangles, and the width of the rectangles should be the same for all, and the length of each next one should be slightly larger than the previous one (about 1 cm).

Step 2. Tightly twist the tubes from the cut out rectangles, wrapping them around a pencil or pen. Fix the tubes with glue.

Step 3. Glue the formed tubes together in a Christmas tree shape, from longer to shorter tube. Glue the resulting Christmas tree to paper (preferably embossed) or prepared cardboard.

Step 4. Decorate the Christmas tree with bright beads or buttons.

Even a small child can create a Christmas tree from bright store-bought stickers; multi-colored bright flat buttons can be used as decorations.

Older children can embroider a Christmas tree on thick cardboard; it is better to pierce the holes with an awl in advance.

It is very easy to create such a postcard if you embroider a triangle with a star on the top of the head and a small rectangle - the trunk.

A more complicated option is if you make holes opposite each other along the perimeter of the triangle, and then sew them with threads; use sequins for decoration.

You can embroider with threads whatever you want - a modest Christmas tree, a small deer and a sock with gifts.

Young children can also create an applique from a regular cypress or fern leaf and decorate it with beads, beads or sequins. The main thing is that an easy-to-make card will bring great joy to the baby and grandparent.

Creating a three-dimensional New Year's card

Volumetric cards look very beautiful and solid. It’s always a pleasure to receive and give such a card. You can also give a voluminous card to your favorite teacher or teacher.

Postcard 1

For production you will need:

  • Thick paper or sheet of cardboard;
  • Glue;
  • Christmas tree blanks (can be printed);
  • Stapler (you can use thin wire).

Step 1. Download, print and cut out the blanks for your future Christmas tree. (You can also cut out the triangles yourself from colored construction paper).

Step 2. Connect the parts together with a stapler (or wire).

Step 3. Glue the resulting Christmas tree onto cardboard or paper. Fold all the triangles of the Christmas tree in half, except for the bottom one. Sign it; if you wish, you can add decorations, for example, in the form of sequins or beads.

Postcard 2

The card is very easy to make, even a first grader can do it.

Necessary materials:

  • Scissors;
  • Glue;
  • Thick paper (cardboard);
  • Colored paper.

Step 1. Take colored, preferably green, paper and cut out rectangular strips. We cut out the rectangles in descending order, with the longest strip being wider than the others, and the short one narrower.

Step 2. Fold the cut strips like an accordion. We fold the smallest strip more often and the larger the strip, the more fold we make.

Step 3. Glue the Christmas tree onto a sheet of cardboard folded in half. Glue the Christmas tree inside the card, on the formed fold.

An easier option for creating a postcard is to fold a cut out green triangle into an accordion shape. Glue it onto cardboard and make a trunk and a star on the top of the head.

Postcard 3

This very easy to make, bright and beautiful card will appeal to all children.

For production you will need:

  • Two sheets of thick paper (cardboard);
  • Scissors;
  • Various small decorations;
  • Pencil.

Step 1. Take one sheet of cardboard, bend it in half, then straighten it and draw a regular Christmas tree on the fold line.

Step 2. Bend the cardboard with the painted Christmas tree so that the drawing is on top and carefully cut out the drawn tiers of the Christmas tree.

Step 3. Bend the resulting Christmas tree in the opposite direction.

Step 4. Take the second cardboard and glue the cardboard with a herringbone pattern to it. Decorate the resulting Christmas tree and sign the card.

Postcard 4

An original postcard for lovers of origami technique, very simple to make.

For production you will need: cardboard, scrapbooking paper, scissors, compass and glue.

Draw a circle on paper, draw a diameter and cut out both semicircles. Fold the Christmas tree as in the photo and glue it. Decorate and sign the card.

Postcard created using the rainbow folding technique

The iris folding style or rainbow folding can reflect your original ideas for creating a New Year's gift. The end result is a very beautiful postcard with a twisting spiral effect.

Necessary materials:

  • Cardboard (thick paper);
  • Colored paper, three colors will be needed;
  • Glue;
  • Iris template (you can download and print it or build it yourself).

To create this postcard, you will need to build an iris template; it will be built on the basis of an isosceles triangle with a base 14 cm long and a height drawn to the base equal to 16 cm. Take a rotation step of 1 cm. The dimensions can be changed as desired.

Step 1. Cut strips from colored paper. We make the width of the strip twice as large as the pitch and add an allowance of up to 4 mm. Thus, for this postcard, we cut out strips with a width of 22-24 mm. Make the first strips a little wider, as they will have to cover the contours of the tree. You will need a lot of prepared strips, so cut them as you create the card.

Step 2. Fold the cut strips in half.

Step 3. Take brown paper and cut out 5 strips (preferably different shades of brown) measuring 35 by 20 mm. We also fold these strips in half.

Step 4. Draw the silhouette of the Christmas tree on thick cardboard and cut it out very carefully (you can use a stationery knife). We make an iris template or print a ready-made one.

Step 5. Attach the prepared template to the wrong side of the cardboard using paper clips. It's okay if the silhouette of the tree is larger than the template. Next we will work from the wrong side.

Step 6. Fill the barrel. We begin to glue the prepared brown strips. To do this, lubricate the strip on the right side of the slot with glue and glue it so that the fold of the cut strip falls on the line of the template. Next, grease the top and bottom of the cardboard as well as the first strip and glue the second strip.

Step 8. Glue the largest strip of the first color at the beginning of the template, try to ensure that the fold coincides with the line on the template.

Step 9: Glue a second large strip of a second color on the opposite side of the template.

Step 10: Glue the next large strip of the third color along the bottom edge of the template.

Step 11: Very carefully glue the next strip of the first color next to the first strip of the same color. Use glue very carefully, only placing small dots.

Step 12. Glue a strip of the second color along the template line, carefully aligning it so that the fold coincides with the line.

Step 14. Turn the card over and, if desired, decorate the resulting Christmas tree. Sign it and you can give an excellent New Year's gift made by yourself.

For greater clarity, also watch the video; although it is in English, the essence can be understood without words: iris folding tutorial papermart.

The New Year tree is an indispensable attribute of the holiday. Therefore, postcards with her image will be especially appropriate. Plus, these cards can be very easy to make.

Instead of confetti, you can glue multi-colored pieces of plasticine to the Christmas tree. Even a child can do this part of the work of making a homemade New Year’s card.

I don't know what this weed is called. It grows along the roadsides like a carpet. Very common in central Russia. Snow is depicted with semolina and a little glitter is added.

The Christmas tree is made of fern, 2-3 branches are glued on top of each other.

There is also a fern here. But I cut off the sharp ends and collected the twig from individual leaves.

This can be done using crushed pencil lead or eye shadow. Also cut out a scarf, pens, a carrot nose, eyes and buttons from colored paper. Glue all the parts of the snowman sequentially onto the blank of your New Year's card.

The name of this technique, iris folding, can be translated as “rainbow folding.” The design is filled with thin paper strips, which, overlapping each other at a certain angle, create an interesting twisting spiral effect. To make a Christmas tree you will need a sheet of colored cardboard or thick paper, thin colored paper of three different colors (it can be plain or variegated), iris -a template based on a triangle, which you can build yourself or print a ready-made one. For gluing, use a glue stick.

First, get acquainted with the technique of constructing an iris template. For this work, the template is built on the basis of a triangle with a base of 14 cm and a height of 16 cm. The step is 1 cm. These dimensions can be changed at your discretion.

  1. Cut strips of paper in three colors. The width of the strip should be twice the pitch, plus an allowance of 2-4 mm. For our step, the width of the strip is 22-24 mm. The very first stripes should be a little wider, because they cover the outer contours of the Christmas tree. It is difficult to immediately calculate how many stripes are needed. It is better to cut them while doing the work.
  2. Fold each strip in half lengthwise.
  3. Cut out five strips for the trunk of different shades measuring 35x20 mm. Fold them in half.
  4. Draw the silhouette of a Christmas tree on cardboard. Carefully cut it out using a utility knife or scissors. Draw or print an iris template.
  5. Place the cardboard on the template with the wrong side out. The cut silhouette may be slightly larger than the template. Secure the template, for example, with paper clips. All work will be done from the inside out.
  6. Do the barrel first. Apply a little glue to the area of cardboard around the slot on the right side. Glue the first strip. The fold line on the strip should be located along the line on the template. To glue the second strip, you can coat the top, bottom and previous strip of cardboard with glue. To prevent the strips from opening, they can be slightly glued in some places. Sometimes this technique does not use glue, but small pieces of tape that secure the strips along the edges.
  7. Fill the entire trunk with stripes.
  8. Take the longest and widest strip. First, just put it to work. The fold line should be located along the first line of the iris template. If the strip is too long, cut it. Glue the strip by smearing a little glue on the cardboard along the edges of the slot.
  9. Glue a strip of a different color so that it matches the rightmost line of the template.
  10. Glue the third strip below along the bottom border of the template.
  11. Prepare the next strip of the first color. First attach, measure the desired length, cut, then glue. Apply glue not to the strip, but to the gluing areas! Use a little glue, just so that the strip “sticks.”
  12. Glue the second strip of the second color, aligning it with the next line of the template.
  13. Glue a second strip of the third color along the next line. Continue gluing in the same order. Strictly clockwise, strictly alternating the selected colors. Each time the stripes will become shorter and shorter. In the end, small scraps cut off at the very beginning will be used. When there is a small empty triangle left at the end, cover it with a piece of paper in one of three colors.

Now you can turn the work over and admire the result. You can glue garlands and decorate the Christmas tree as you wish. We completed these and other Christmas trees at the master class on December 13, 2007 in about one hour. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Good afternoon, dear subscribers!

Don’t forget about what you need to do for the New Year, as well as decorate your apartment with decorations.

Create a festive atmosphere and give it to your friends and family. All you need for this is a good mood and a little patience and inspiration. You will get ideas in this article, especially since many postcards will be shown with master classes, so don’t worry, you will get wonderful souvenirs.

By the way, such works can be brought to an exhibition or competition and take a prize. So, create for your health and in large quantities. Well, let's get to work. Let's go, friends! Hang in there, the selection will be hot).

By the way, if you have your own ideas on this topic, be sure to write your thoughts below under this note. I’ll be happy to read it and maybe in future issues I’ll create something like this and post it on the blog.

So, let's get started and I want to immediately introduce you to a new masterpiece that amazed me from the first minute. I never thought that such a magnificent card could be easily and quickly made by yourself. Many thanks to the author, it turns out very cute and, moreover, you can decorate it differently each time, the main thing is to use a winter theme. You'll soon figure it out as you go along.

You can do this kind of work together with a child of any age category, make a blank or whatever you call it the base, and let your child paint all the characters and objects and then glue them on. So let's get down to business.

We will need:

  • A4 paper or landscape sheet
  • scrap paper, you can use colored paper
  • glue stick
  • colored markers or pencils
  • scissors
  • ruler

Stages:

1. Take a white sheet of paper and make marks on the right side with a ruler 2 cm from the edge. Draw a line as shown in the figure below. Then move the ruler to the left and make a mark of 11 cm.

2. So go through several places so that it is convenient after drawing the line.

3. This is how the markings turned out, don’t worry, soon everything will become clear what and why.

4. Use scissors to trim a 2cm edge.

5. And then cut along another long line so that you get two identical strips from one sheet.

6. Now divide one of the strips in half and bend it, then make another fold in half from the resulting half.

8. Where there were vertical lines, make a fold.

9. The result was nothing like an accordion.

10. Now let's formalize. From scrap paper, cut out geometric shapes slightly smaller than the main piece.

If you don’t have it in stock, you can use a regular colored one instead.

Or you can take options from the Internet, for example, take these and print them out.

11. Carefully glue the scrap paper leaves and remove excess glue with a napkin, if any.

12. Now the strip that you have already glued to the wide one, but this must be done in a special way.

13. So that the middle is not glued, this is where the fairy-tale characters will be located.

14. I suggest you draw them with a simple pencil, and then color them by hand.

15. You can also make the Christmas tree template yourself; bend a sheet of paper and draw the outline, and then cut it out.

16. Don't forget to color all the elements. If you are bad at drawing, or don’t want to do it, then you can print ready-made templates.

Take them from here, or find them yourself on the Internet. Make a printout and give it to the kids to color, they will be happy with this task.

Idea! Moreover, it can be Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, whatever you want.

17. Now we make a couple more blanks from scrap paper.

18. Fold them in such a way that vertical lines are shown.

19. And then we apply it to the main product and glue it.

20. We got these stands for gluing Christmas trees.

21. Attach each Christmas tree and carefully glue it with glue.

22. Glue the snowman on the very main page, where you see gifts, you can write a congratulation or

Now I want to teach you how to make an easier souvenir in the form of a house. You need to fold the leaf in half and cut out four squares or rectangles to make a window.

Now open the blank and glue a sheet of colored or office paper on the inside, cut the edges with decorative scissors.

Take thicker paper, you can take cardboard, but not too thick, cut out a suitable triangle from it. This will be the symbol of the Christmas tree. Then wrap it with thread and secure the ends with glue.

All that remains is to build a surprise for the forest beauty, also make this masterpiece out of paper, you can use ribbons for the bow.

And what ended up happening is incredibly cute and cool, and most importantly, the kids are delighted. How do you like this idea?

Also cover the outside of the window and draw decorations.

Now I propose to turn to the origami technique and make another craft in the form of a green Christmas tree made of paper and cardboard. To begin, cut out 6 geometric shapes in the form of squares from colored paper. Dimensions shown in the picture.

Fold a yellow sheet of cardboard in half, this will be the basis of the future postcard.

It is on this that you stick all the triangles, as if you were inserting each one into each other. Start from the top, that is, from the smallest triangle. And the final stage - glue the star, decorate with rhinestones or sparkles. Good luck!

You can do something like this, you can also do it this way, the applique is a little more complicated, but the postcard turns out even more voluminous.

You can even take ordinary coloring books and easily make a greeting work out of them. This is a great option for little ones.

You may also want to use the following stencil for a card; you will need to cut out a Christmas tree along the outline, and give your child the task of decorating with rhinestones.

Here is an unusual version of working from circles:

I’m also giving you this sketch as a hint; it will also turn out to be a nice piece of work.

I took a photo of another product from the magazine, it might come in handy.

Look what came out based on everything stated above.

Another creation from an old newspaper.

But this little deer, and all the other characters, are smiling, and what about you?

Another unique and interesting craft, for which you will need two sheets, print a sample of the Christmas tree on one, and glue it to the other, making the necessary cuts.

Easy New Year cards with a 3 year old child

The most common option is drawing with children's palms; it looks both beautiful and stylish. And besides, kids like it so much; they are ready to enjoy creative activities for hours, because they are learning about the world. And we are at the same time with them.

You can draw with your fingers, and any New Year's image:

And then decorate with sparkles and cover with shiny varnish.

Using a decorative stapler, cut out snowflakes and use them to create the composition you want.

Here are a couple more stencils for creativity.

Even ordinary lacing for finger exercises can be adapted here, and it will be fun and useful.

If you want, or maybe you are a fan of corrugated paper, or you have it lying around in your stash, use it then too.

You need to fold the sheet into an accordion shape and secure the middle with a stapler. And then fluff it up and glue the ends together or secure them with staples.

Voila, gobbledygook and glue it to the cardboard base where the bend is. Decorate with snowflakes and others and rhinestones. You can also add a sticker.

The next option will not be simple, but not difficult either. You will need scrapbooking elements specifically in the New Year theme.

It can also be flowers and leaves for decoration.

Of course, this requires your imagination and ingenuity, you can make something like this:

Master class Rat postcards for kindergarten and school children

Now, of course, we move on to the most exciting moment, everyone knows that the coming year will be the year of the Rat, and therefore most of us, including children, will want to make a postcard in the shape of a mouse. I suggest turning to the videos.

And the second MK will be in the form of a voluminous beauty, which you will definitely want to make as you see.

Ideas for children's New Year cards

Next, we consider children's masterpieces that may give you new thoughts. Look and choose. Take this beautiful gift, what a beauty that came out of the footprint, what a cool idea. Such mischievous snowmen.

A magnificent Christmas tree, which is made in the form of an applique and decorated with rhinestones and a star.

Use cotton pads, it's great, isn't it? It’s so simple, it couldn’t be easier to imagine. They came out so cute, and the bear cub even looks a bit like Umka.

And if you like to work with felt and cotton wool, then take note of this beauty.

Here is a winter card in the shape of a hand, and on it are snowy friends.

Here's another idea, it looks wonderful, do you like it?

The next option is no less interesting, look how Santa Claus’s cap is glued in an original way.

Here are a couple more Christmas trees, the first one is made of cardboard, and instead of a star there is a packaging bow.

This card is also given beauty by painted paper napkins and, of course, bells.

This is also a super option, I think no one will refuse such a brilliant thing.

If you like snowmen more, then here is another idea, and the forest beauty is made in the quilling style, and so is the main character. You'll have to tinker a little, but the result will please you.

If you are a needlewoman and know how to knit, then this can be useful; the child will glue the cotton pads, and you will do the rest).

In America it is customary to give a shoe like this as a gift.

Or a postcard on which a New Year's ball will be depicted; you can draw it, or you can glue it from sesal fiber.

Then make a frame from scrap paper.

Write the inscription and the souvenir will be ready. Give to the addressee.

This charm will not leave anyone indifferent, it is made of circles of multi-colored paper.

Greeting cards in scrapbooking style

Recently, such works have become in great demand; such paper can be bought in any store or printed on your own printer. That is, find a suitable drawing on the Internet. At the beginning of the note, I already gave you some developments, here are some more:

Now, let's get to work.

We will need:

  • colored cardboard or paper
  • scrap paper
  • felt-tip pens
  • PVA glue

Stages:

First of all, cut out rectangles of different lengths from scrap paper; choose the size yourself.

Then twist each piece on a simple pencil or thick stick to form a tube. Glue it together.

Thus, you should have 12 tubes of different lengths. Which now have to be glued together, starting from the longest and moving to the shortest.

Can you guess what will happen? Of course, a Christmas tree, which you glue onto cardboard folded in half. Instead of an asterisk, use a button or something else that you can find from scrap materials. Even a bow will do.

How to make a 3D New Year's card

To answer this question, let’s look at the video, the author will clearly tell and show, and all we have to do is listen carefully and repeat. Moreover, since such a miracle, everyone will really like it. The filmmaker even calls the postcard 4D, and it’s true you’ve never seen anything like it. This is a great idea, take note quickly.

The next option is no less interesting, this is a postcard made from paper circles, and the result is a cool snowman.

We will need:

  • paper
  • cardboard
  • scissors
  • double sided tape
  • Styrofoam

Fold the cardboard in half, but cut out three circles of different diameters from white paper. Draw blue stripes along the contour to make it look brighter and match the background of the workpiece.

The next step is to take a piece of polystyrene foam and glue double-sided tape on it, and then a circle on the workpiece.

This way, you will have a circle on a circle, as if you were assembling a pyramid.

Now decorate the snowman, glue a red nose in the shape of a carrot out of cardboard, draw eyes and a mouth with a marker.

Decorate to your taste, you can write Happy New Year or the like.

Here are a couple more ideas on this topic.

I was fascinated by this fluffy Christmas tree, which the author glued with double-sided tape and foam plastic for volume.

You can take ready-made templates or do the work yourself.

This concludes the note. I hope all the work deserves praise and you enjoy it. After all, the authors tried, and now we can admire them and take them as a basis for our own masterpieces. Make cards for the New Year and give them to your loved ones, teachers, educators and everyone who is dear to you.

I wish everyone a wonderful mood and a fabulous day! Bye.

Best regards, Ekaterina
