If your child dreams of a teddy bear, then you don’t have to run to the children’s store and buy it, but you can rummage through your home pantry, find the remains of threads there and make such a wonderful teddy bear.

How to make a bear from pompoms.

To make a teddy bear you need the following materials and tools:

Dark brown threads of medium thickness (head and paws)

Light brown threads of medium thickness (muzzle)

Cream (or beige) threads of medium thickness (torso and neck)

Brown shank button (or bead)

Brown cardboard

Scissors

Crochet hook (preferably thin)

A needle (which fits freely into the hole of the beads)

Two black round beads and a small piece of white cardboard.

Making a bear from pompoms

1. Using a pattern (outer circle diameter 12 cm, inner circle diameter 3 cm) from cream or beige threads, make pompon- torso.

2. Using a pattern (outer circle diameter 8 cm, inner circle diameter 3 cm) make a pompom head from dark brown threads.

3. Using a pattern (the diameter of the outer circle is 4 cm, the diameter of the inner circle is 2 cm) from light brown threads, make a not very thick pompom-face.

4. From the same threads, make a thick lace 12-15 cm long and wrap it around the fastening thread. Do not shake the pompom, distribute the threads in the shape of a bow.

5. Sew the pom-pom face to the pom-pom head.

6. Cut out a piece in the shape of a figure eight from cardboard. Attach beads to it. Leaving the needle on the back of the cardboard figure eight, sew the eyes to the head.

8. Take a brown button and sew it to the lace of the muzzle, under the eyes. It turned out to be a nose.

9. Transfer the ear pattern to brown cardboard and cut out 2 pieces for each ear. Transfer the marks L and P from the pattern to them. Glue the left and right parts together.

10. Sew the ear marked P to the right side of the head, and the ear marked L to the left. Thread the needle through the points marked on the cardboard ear.

11. Using cream (beige) colored threads according to the pattern (the diameter of the outer circle is 4 cm, the diameter of the inner circle is 2 cm) make five pompoms. One of them is the neck, and the other four are the legs.

12. Carefully tie another one over the head fastening thread so that the ends of the thread are in the place where it will connect to the neck. Using a needle and thread, using pom-pom fastening threads, sew the neck to the body, and then the head to the neck.

13. Mark the places where the bear cub’s paws will be located and carefully sew them on.

Who among us doesn't love brown bears?! Of course, both adults and children like such toys. Today, toy bear cubs can be bought in any store, however, you can knit the same cute bear cub with your own hands. For this we need: maximum desire and good mood and minimum effort.

So, we will need:

  • brown threads;
  • white and black threads;
  • ordinary threads for sewing together parts of the product;
  • 2 beads for eyes;
  • glue like “Moment”;
  • wire;
  • filler;
  • second size hook.
Finished product size: about 25 cm.
Level of preparation for knitting: no higher than elementary.
Toy making time: approximately 3-4 hours.

Step one. Head.
All good things start from the head, our bear is also made from the head. To make it, we crochet two loops and knit them together. Let's start the circle.

Having reached half the volume of the head, fill the toy with filler.

After a few more centimeters of knitting, we close the loops and get a head like this.

Its approximate volume is 5-6 cm.
Step two. Torso.
The body of the toy is knitted as a single piece. Limbs are added later. We start knitting from the bottom, knit a large semicircle and start knitting the walls, decreasing the knitting by the number of loops towards the top. The result is a body that is somewhat reminiscent of a pear.

Step three. Sewing parts.
Now you need to sew the head and torso.

After this we do the ears. They are made from two semicircles.

The ears are then connected to the head, stuffed and carefully sewn on.

Now we make the face of the animal from white threads. We knit a semicircle, stuff it and sew it to the head. We do the same with two white circles, indicating the places where the eyes will be.

Now use glue to attach the eye beads.

Finally, we sew the head and body to each other.

Step four. Upper and lower limbs.
Now our task is to properly make the legs and arms of the bear.
Let's start with the upper legs. First we will insert the wire into the places of the future upper limbs.

Next, we knit two loops, called air loops, and begin circular knitting with a gradual addition of loops. We knit about 6 cm and bind off the loops. We do the same thing a second time, thus making the second hand.

We sew the arms to the body of our bear.

The same procedure is performed for the lower extremities.
First we thread the wire.

Then we make the legs with a thickening at the bottom (in the place of future feet).

You can knit the same teddy bear! Good luck in your creativity!

Thread pompom tree

A thread pompom can be created in a variety of ways. By making several of these blanks, you can make a Christmas tree that will not break and will become a soft toy that is pleasant to the touch.

Take:
  • padding polyester;
  • yarn;
  • leg-split;
  • large fork;
  • scissors;
  • hook.

First you need to knit a mesh of twine. We do this in a circle. To make the workpiece cone-shaped, add air loops.

Give the padding polyester a cone shape and put a mesh of twine on it.

From these notes, knit a circle, connect the resulting bottom with a Christmas tree blank made of twine. Look how to make a pompom from threads, I use a very interesting method. Wind the yarn around the fork, tie the resulting turns in the middle with thread.

Remove this blank from the base, check the yarn with scissors from the top and bottom sides.

Just as you made the first pom-pom from threads, craft the rest.

For the Christmas tree you can use green yarn and its shades or white, blue and light blue. Threads for toys should be of a contrasting color to make them stand out.

Tie the made pompoms to the net.

Now you need to make toys for the Christmas tree. Red threads were used for this. Make pom-poms also using a fork. Bring them to the Christmas tree in the form of toys. This is such a wonderful forest beauty. If you are a craftswoman with small children, play at the same time and help them develop their speech. Show them an example of how to talk about pom poms while creating them. Various adjectives can be used: soft; big; round; fluffy; shaggy; fairy; easy.

To make such a cute snowman, take: white, red, blue yarn; toothpicks; buttons; cardboard; scissors; felt or other dense fabric; ceiling tile adhesive; ribbon; If so, is it the same with sparkles?

See how to make a thread pom pom using cardboard. Cut a strip of cardboard from this material. It should be as wide as you want the finished pompom to be.

Cut a piece of thread 15 cm long and place it horizontally on the cardboard. Wind the yarn vertically from above.

Pull the horizontal thread, tie it in a couple of knots, check the pompom at the top and bottom. Remove it from the workpiece and straighten it.

Here we show how to make a pompom from yarn using brown thread as an example, but for the snowman we will use white thread. This method will come in handy when you create various toys using any technique. In the meantime, look at how to make small pom-poms for the hands of our hero.

To do this, take a regular fork and white yarn. Wind the threads tightly around it.

Cut the turns of yarn on one side, tie them with loose thread in the middle, straighten the resulting pompom.

Here's how to make a snowman from threads next.

It consists of two. The top of the head is slightly smaller than the one that became the body. We connect these two blanks using toothpicks coated with glue. In the same way, you need to attach two small pompoms to the body, which will become handles.

To make his hat, sew a cap from red felt, insert a cone made of cardboard inside so that the headdress has a shape.

Glue buttons and beads onto the face to make eyes and a mouth. Make a carrot nose from a piece of toothpick with a little orange yarn wound around it.

Our snowman is neat, give him a broom. To do this, fold the yarn several times to create even turns. Bend them in the center, bend them in this place to fold them in half.

Insert a toothpick here, pre-dyed in the same color as the yarn. To secure this wooden blank with a large amount of glue. Transfer with thread, trim off excess yarn at the bottom. Rewind with glitter ribbon, after which you can attach the bottom of the snowman's arm.

A bow and buttons made of red fabric and glitter glue will complete his festive look.

To do this, roll the cut out triangle from cardboard into a cone, gluing the edges. Coat the top of this piece with glue and wind a red thread across it. Glue a small white pom pom onto the top of the cap.
  3. Also attach the hat itself using ceiling tile adhesive, just like the pompom mittens. Tie Santa Claus with a golden belt. Sew on beads or buttons that will become his facial features.
  4. The edge of the sleeves and the bottom of the fur coat became padding polyester. It needs to be glued here, as well as in the center of the fur coat. Make a beard from threads, a mustache from white foam rubber.
Here's how to make Santa Claus using pom poms. From the same blanks, only in a different color, we make the Snow Maiden.

Bear rug made of pompoms

Pompoms will also help you create one. You know how to make pompoms and... Now we will make one so that it looks like a funny bear.

To make it, take:

  • 700 g of fluffy yarn of brown or sand color;
  • 50 g pink threads;
  • 100 g each of light brown and beige yarn;
  • mesh;
  • cardboard;
  • hook.
The finished dimensions of the rug are 60x75 cm. For the base, you can take a construction mesh or buy a similar one at a fabric store.

The following patterns show in detail how to crochet an ear, upper and lower paw.

To create a head, you need to knit a circle with a diameter of 20 cm from light yarn. For the muzzle we knit a small circle of dark threads and sew it on.

Cut an oval from the mesh and tie pompoms onto it, passing the threads through the cells. Tie their ends on the reverse side, cut off the excess.

If you don’t have a mesh for the base, then take thick fabric: denim, drape or felt. Cut an oval out of it and sew on pom-poms.

Draw a circle on cardboard and cut it out. Attach it to the flesh, outline it, cut it out. Sew along the edge of the fur circle with basting.

Take a piece of padding polyester and tie it in the middle with a ribbon. This is necessary for those who make the pompom removable in order to tie it. If you sew to a hat when the ribbon is not needed. Place the padding polyester inside the circle, connect the thread, and use it to sew up the remaining hole.

To avoid damaging the fur when cutting, use a blade or sharp knife. Then you will only cut the flesh, and the fur will remain intact.

That's it, you can sew or tie a pompom to the hat and put on a beautiful headdress.

If you want to be original, then sew pompoms around the perimeter of the hat. They can be placed in two rows at the front; at the back of the head, sew several in a circle side by side.

If you want to make pompoms in the shape of berries and fruits, then check out how to make them.

For these you should have on hand:
  • threads of different colors;
  • cardboard;
  • scissors;
  • hook;
  • gypsy needle.

  1. Let's start with strawberries. Draw a horseshoe on cardboard; you will need two such blanks. Combine these two elements, put a green thread between them.
  2. Wind the red thread tightly in the middle, and make turns with white on the right and left. We secure the ends of the yarn with a hook, making a couple of turns.
  3. Then cover the top of the workpiece again with red yarn, then white. Do this layer one more time.
  4. You have formed the strawberry pulp with white seeds. If you want them to look natural, use black thread.
  5. Wind the green yarn on the left side to become the tail of the strawberry.
  6. Using sharp scissors, cut the threads along the top outer part of the horseshoe. Carefully pull the green thread while removing the piece from the cardboard and tie it in a knot.
  7. Now we need to use scissors to give our berry its characteristic shape.

A berry as large as a watermelon can also be made into pom-poms.

  1. Between two parts of the same cardboard blank you need to stretch a green thread. Now we wind the bright pink yarn on top in the middle. It will be the pulp of a watermelon. A few turns of black thread will become its seeds.
  2. To make a green crust, wrap a thread of that color over the top. Make a layer between it and the pulp using white yarn.
  3. Wrap the bright pink thread again on top. Just like in the first case, pull the green thread. While holding, cut all layers of yarn at the top. Tighten the warp thread, giving the workpiece a round shape. If necessary, cut off excess using scissors.

This is what happens.

Using the same technique you can make a kiwi from threads.

Place brown thread between two skeins. Wind the white one across the top. To create dark stripes, create them using black yarn. Next come light green threads, and brown ones complete the layer. After cutting the threads at the top of the horseshoe, pull the pre-laid thread and tie it. All you have to do is remove the pompom from the workpiece and use scissors to give it the desired shape.

Wind a white thread onto the same blank. Then, on both sides of the center, yellow. Cover it all with white thread and wind yellow in the middle. Next comes a layer of white yarn, onto which you need to wind the yellow one.

All that remains is to cut the coils on top, remove the cardboard template, and use scissors to shape the piece into an orange.

Here are some wonderful thread pompoms you can make with your own hands. If it’s not entirely clear to you how to make it in the shape of a strawberry, then watch the video to complete the picture.

How to make a pompom

Required material:

  • thick paper or cardboard;
  • knitting threads of the desired color;
  • scissors;
  • compass;
  • large gypsy needle.
  1. Using a compass, draw two identical circles on paper. Inside each circle, draw inner circles of the same diameter. Cut out the details.
  2. Make large circle cuts in one place. Fold the paper circles so that the cuts do not match.
  3. Measure out at least 2 meters of thread, pull it into a large needle and wind the thread onto the structure made from cardboard circles.
  4. Thus, you need to wind the thread to the end. The more thread is wound, the more fluffy and voluminous the pompom will be.
  5. Cut the thread along the edge of the cardboard stand, in a circle.
  6. You need to move the cardboard rings a little to the sides and tie the entire bundle between them with one thread in a strong knot.
  7. Remove the cardboard templates from the pom poms.
  8. Flatten the pompom, giving it a uniform fluffiness.
