  3. Each pea pod is created from two identical semicircular parts, between which there is a layer of filler.
  4. The head of cheese is formed from 4 elements. The top and bottom are identical. They are connected using a strip of fabric. If you need to show that a piece of cheese has been cut off, then you need to sew a darker stripe inside this head.

  6. The cheese in the bottom photo can be made from foam rubber. To make a fermented milk product with noble mold, sew with blue and green threads.

Even felt food that is not bulky also looks great. Beets are made without using any filler. For fish you will need very little. To make scrambled eggs from fabric, you need to cut out a blank from white felt and a circle from yellow. You need to put a little filler under the yolk and stitch this yellow circle into the center of the white blank.

Dumplings are created from yellow or white fabric, which must be cut into a crescent shape. The blanks are sewn together in pairs and stuffed with cotton wool. The ends of each need to be connected and sewn.

Fabric tea bags will turn out especially beautiful if you glue or sew an applique in the form of berries and leaves on a bag made of white fabric.
You can also make entire dishes from felt.

  1. The centerpiece of the following is the salmon steak. To create it you need to cut out two identical parts from pink felt. This will be the top and bottom of the red fish piece. They need to be connected by the side. To do this, cut out a strip of the required length, 3–4 cm high, from gray felt. The edges of the blanks are processed with zigzag scissors.
  2. Sew all the pieces together, leaving a small gap open. It is needed to fill this item with filler. Using a dark marker, draw semicircular lines so that the chum fish looks as if it were a real steak lying on a plate.
  3. You will also need to make the cross-section of the bow more realistic. To do this, use a ballpoint pen or a thin marker. Such circles will be clearly visible on a white background, because it is from this felt that you will make the bow.
  4. Making food out of felt is a lot of fun. You can see this with your children. Invite them to roll a strip of green fabric into a tight roll to make green beans.
  5. Cut out a lettuce leaf from felt of the appropriate color. Place this preparation on a plate, also place a circle of fabric potatoes here. Garnish the fish with a lemon slice of the same material.

Fabric sweets - how to sew them yourself?

The cake making master class starts now.

To create a fabric cake, take:
  • felt of the desired colors for the base and for the fruit;
  • filler;
  • scissors;
  • wavy braid;
  • needle and thread.
For the cake you will need 3 parts: the first is made in the form of a rectangle measuring 16 by 5 cm. The other two represent the top and bottom of the product. These are two circles with a diameter of 5 cm.

For fruit you need three semicircles with a diameter of 2.5 cm; 5 cm; 7 cm. You will need another figure in the form of a small green star. Sew the rectangular piece to the round one. Sew up the side. Fill the resulting barrel with padding polyester and sew the bottom on your hands.

You can decorate the cake any way you want. A zigzag braid in a contrasting color will look good. We sew it on with the needle stitching forward.

The base is ready, all that remains is to decorate it with berries and fruits. Let's start with strawberries. To highlight the small seeds located on it, embroider a red semicircle with yellow or other thread. Connect the sides and stitch this seam.

Pull the bottom of the strawberry onto a thread, place the filling here, and sew on a piece in the shape of a green star.

Place a small light green one on the green semicircle and sew them together. Without removing this thread, use it to make some kind of rays. Embroider kiwi seeds with black thread. Fold this slice in half and use a green thread to connect the edges together.

Here's how to make cream for a cake. Cut a circle with a diameter of 5 cm from white felt, cut petals along the edge. Then collect them on the light side as it was done in the photo. Tighten the thread, cut.

All that remains is to assemble the cake. To do this, use a green thread to sew on a slice of kiwi, and connect the strawberries in the same way. Using a white thread, sew on the cream, the middle of which should be decorated with an artificial pearl. The edges of the cake are decorated with the same elements.

Fabric food gets even more variety if you make cookies. Create with your children, they will certainly enjoy creating such things.

Use brown felt and fleece scraps for these beautiful confections. Cut out hearts, stars, circles from the material. Fold two pairs of pieces together.

You can make cookies in the shape of Christmas trees, then fabric food will decorate the New Year's doll table. It will also be interesting if you make such inedible pastries in the form of various animals, cartoon characters.

Place the brown material on a pink or other light-colored canvas that will become the icing. But it should be slightly smaller than the base. To do this, make this part 2 mm smaller than it.

Place the icing on the brown felt piece. Sew these parts together.

All that remains is to decorate the pastries. To do this, use glass beads, beads, or you can embroider letters with thread so that little children can then make words from them.

Now you need to place each half of the cookie on a padding polyester and cut this material specifically to the size of this product. Then baked goods from the fabric will turn out smooth and beautiful.

Place exactly the same cookies on the reverse side and sew multi-layered products. If you want to hang this decoration on the Christmas tree, then sew loops into which you turn the bent ribbons.

You will get such beautiful products.

Watch the following master class, which clearly shows how to make donuts from felt, fleece or felt.

Sweet master class

Take:
  • paper;
  • thin satin ribbons;
  • a needle;
  • padding polyester;
  • handle;
  • scissors.
To create donuts, follow these instructions:
  1. Cut out a donut and cream template from paper. The first one will resemble a ring, the second one will resemble a ring with wavy edges. Attach the templates to the fabric of the corresponding color, cut out the material. For each donut you will need two identical fabric rings.
  2. Sew glaze on top of one of them, having previously decorated it with ribbons. To do this, you need to thread the ribbon through a needle with a wide eye and embroider small stitches on the front side. If you wish, make them with ribbons of different colors.
  3. Sew the two donut pieces together, but not completely yet. Then sew this edge closed.

How to make a fabric cake?

If you have a spare box left, you can turn it into a charming cake decorated with snow-white marshmallows.

You can put all sorts of little things inside, for example, hair ties, hairpins. If you want to put needles here, then put foam rubber on the bottom.

So take:

  • empty box;
  • soft fabric of the desired color;
  • braid or thin lace;
  • white fleece;
  • filler.
To create a cake, follow the step-by-step master class:
  1. Measure the volume of the box, its top and bottom. For the bottom and top parts you need to cut out a circle, and the side will be a rectangle from the same fabric.
  2. A narrow ribbon from the same fabric needs to be cut for the side of the lid and sewn to it on the side. Sew white lace to make the product beautiful and airy.
  3. Marshmallows will also contribute to this. To make it, cut out round blanks from white fabric, cut each into 8 petals. Laying them in one direction, tighten them with a thread. Sew marshmallows onto the top of the box in a circle.
  4. Strawberries will be made from fleece. Cut a circle out of it and cut it in half. You now have a preparation for two strawberries. Each one needs to be folded in half again, pulled together with a thread from below, and sealed with filler. All that remains is to sew up the lower holes, then sew on small pearls.
Here are some great ideas that ordinary fabric can give you. But that's not all that can be done from it. Look at what other food craftswomen create from fabric.

By repeating the presented master class, you can “stick” beautiful reusable dumplings in 15 minutes.

The following video review will delight you with already familiar and new ideas on this topic.
